Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around The Old Oak Tree

I am coming home, I’ve done my time. Now I need to know what Is and Isn’t mine…Well, you know the rest right? Yes, my first tour of duty in Mongolia ends here, earning me 5 days of shore leave back home, and that includes the 1 day of traveling home! Tomorrow I will fly back to KL via Beijing. Had to do some last minute shopping for souvenirs yesterday at a place “Souvenir House”. I was hunting for a gift for 2 of my favorite babies in the world who both are turning 1 this month, but alas, there was nothing really for 1 year old’s. I did however buy some stuff for my friends back home, key chains mostly, and something special for a few close friends. Those of you who didn’t get a gift this round, I didn’t forget you okay! I will be here for 3 more months, so I will get something next trip! While shopping I did see something I liked, and decided to get this for myself. Its a local Mongolian Hat! Check it out

Do I look Cute or What?

I arrive Friday Night (2/9) @ 11:30 P.M, and leave Tuesday Night (7/9) @11:30 P.M. Its gonna be a short trip back, but I’ll try and replenish my supply of Maggie Mee in a cup and also Soupy Snax!

Yesterday’s shopping session was great! As 3 Malaysian’s and our 2 Mongolian friends, who I must say, have a passion for shopping, brought us to several shops to purchase things. I only bought gifts, but Roy and Jonathan bought Cashmere and Camel Fur coats. Apparently they are really cheap here, about RM200 plus where they would cost about RM300-500 back home. I did see allot of things I wanted to buy, but have to pace myself.

Oh! Special thanks to Jeff Ooi who mentioned me in his blog! Thanks dude! I am honored!

On this day in History..
