Doing the tourist thing
August 20th, 2005 by Nick Tay
The working day was over one sunny Saturday afternoon, and my team members each wanted to do their own thing. Lin wanted to shoot some hoops, Tan wanted to watch some badminton, Jonathan wanted to sleep, and so I decided to walk around the city by myself. It was a little on the warm side, 27 degrees, little cloud cover, but I still felt adventurous. Took loads of pictures, mostly of statues and flowers and then I saw that the museum was open so I just walked in. There were people taking pictures, and so I took out my camera and started snapping away. And then as I was about to leave, the lady asked me for my ticket. I was like ticket? Nobody asked me to pay anything. She pointed at a small booth and then I saw the prices. 2,500 for Ticket (RM 7.80) and 10,000 for photo pass (RM 31.00). Argh!! If I knew that, I would have taken allot more photos man! Oh well, live and learn. Anyways, here are they are. You better enjoy them cos it cost me allot!!
