THE 5 THINGS I DON’T MISS ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD…

meme’d by spicy… in response to the 5 things i miss about my childhood meme…

The 5 things I don’t miss about my childhood.

1. Well, my dad is chinese and my mom indian. My dad’s family was very very chinese if you know what I mean, and never truely accepted my mom. This made childhood alittle crappy especially since I was the only one who looked indian. My brother and sister got my dad’s skin colour. My aunts used to call me the “black devil” and I was blamed for EVERYTHING that went wrong.

2. My mom past away when I was 6. So going through life never really knowing what it was like to have a Mom, kinda sucked as well.

3. My dad remarried when I was 15 and there were always fights and arguments with the New Wife and the rest of the family.

4. Being kicked out of my home after my SPM, have never step foot in my house since that day.

5. Growing up in my older brothers shadow. Everybody knew who my brother was, and I was always compared to him. He was head prefect, the best speaker in the Debating team, President of the Interact Club, Asian Scholar, basicly everything I wasn’t.

As you can see, childhood was not particularly happy. That probably explains allot about me, but I am glad that I found Jesus. And I have learnt forgiveness.
