Back From Church

January 17th, 2004 by Nick Tay

Well, the Au Dai’s I bought my friends for their birthdays in Nov 2002, have failed to make their appearance. I fear they will never ever make thier appearence in my lifetime. Sigh.

Anyways, the service was great. Pastor Paul Ai from Vietnam gave a great sermon about the True Characteristics of a Mission Minded church, how it should be totally focus on winning souls, and not stealing sheep from other churches, how It should be the light of the comunity, how it should be a blessing to the comunity. Good stuff.

I did manage to take some pictures of some of my youth in thier own traditional costumes. And also some of me posing at 4:30am this morning in my Kung Fu outfit. Enjoy.

After church went to 1 Utama, had lunch at this Japanese fast food joint, walked around for a bit with a friend, who kept wanting me to buy clothes that she insisted were “sooo me”. My policy is simple, if I have enough clothes to wear, I don’t need new ones.

Anyways, thats it for now. Maybe more later.

Dinner and a movie

Got back from Church, amd managed to sleep for a while, then at 7:30 went and picked up David Lee and we had a nice 3 dish chinese dinner. We had a great conversation talked about music, life and even long distance relationship. After that we went to carrefour to do some shopping then dropped him home. I arrived home and my sister and the boyfriend was watching the Shawshank Redemption, a great movie so I watched it to. In fact i am watching it now, thats about it. Tomorrow is my company annual dinner :)

Goodnight guys.

On this day in History..
