More medical woes

Last night I had the worse case of diarrhoea I had in my life. I had to get up every 15 minutes throughout the night to go to the bathroom and the sharp pains in my stomach didn’t help either. So this morning I went to the hospital. The whole thing cost me USD 325! I had to get a IV for anti-biotic’s and rehydration, I had to get a blood test to rule out cholera. The French lady doctor, Dr.Marrie was very nice and I really dig her accent. She was very professional and I liked how he asked her questions. Anyways, I do not like needles at all, kinda funny for a doctors kids, so the whole IV experience was not exactly thrilling. I am back now at the bank, and I will work through the day. I checked out of the Horison Hotel today and will be checking in at a cheaper hotel closer to the tourist district this evening. That should be fun. I will take loads of pictures If I feel up to a walk. I hope they have Star TV.

More later.
