A Chance To Go To Mongolia
October 29th, 2003 by Nick Tay
Today my company got a change request for a bank in Mongolia!! I soo wanna go! I heard stories from my collegues who have been that all the signs are in the Russian Alphabet. But thats not what is getting me excited. The real reason I want to go is that Its gonna be winter there!! And that means I may get to see snow again!! Boy I miss winter. I know my friends in Canada would think I am crazy, but I can still remember the first time I saw snow.
When I was in Canada, I worked in the User Support Centre, which is like a Tech Support located in the Basement of the Library. This meant, I had no windows. I would go in at 7:00am and get my lunch break at 12:00, then slave until 9 pm. I get a coffee break at about 5:15pm, and as I left the Library on thay to have a snack, I saw snow!! It was a feeling I can’t define, I was like a child playing for the first time. I spent the whole 15 minutes break walking in snow
Oh Joy! Oh Rapture!.
I have taken so many pictures in Canada, but not a single picture of me in the snow! How sad is that. So I want to go and take visual proof that I , Nick Tay. Have seen snow. How else are my kids gonna believe me
So Lets hope and pray Mongolia is next for me
