More on Soul Mates
October 23rd, 2003 by Nick Tay
Have I found my soul mate? And if somebody is my soul mate, does that automatically make me his/hers soul mate? As a person, I have many people who are part of my life. I have my family, I have my cell, my fellow youth leaders, my church friends, my co-workers, and my oldest and dearest friends. As I get older, I do find that I see less and less of them. Out of this large group, there are a select few who I share more with, and out of this elite few, there are those, who I would consider “Soul Mates”.
Here lies my second question. They are my soul mates, but I am not theirs. So are soul mates really a two way thing? Can you feel the soul bond with one person yet, not have him/her feel the same for you?
And yet again, the reflector has a theory.
Theory : It may take two to tango, but not to soul relate.
I find my friend understand me, and they know me inside out. I may not be able at all times to return the favor to them, but I find there are people who I understand, inside out and able to relate thier lives. When One person soul relates to another a soul connection is made, and they are a soul mate in the eyes of the one in need. For example, no Man could ever be God’s Soul mate, but God is the perfect soul mate, as he will understand your every need, after all he created you right? I think this theory still needs some fine tuning here and there. Comments?
