Homecoming

October 12th, 2003 by Nick Tay

Yes. I am excited. In a matter of hours, I will hop into A Cab, Pay the Man USD 10, and in about 30 minutes, I will arrive at Hanoi International Airport. This Airport is much better than the one in Ho Chih Minh, thats true, but not much shopping there. The flight back is about 3 Hours 20 Minutes not stop, but Mas used the extremly small Boeing 737-400 so, its not very comfortable, and there is no entertainment whatsover. On the flight here I did get a Window seat, with the seat next to me empty, so I got lotsa leg room. Hope to get the same this trip. Sometimes I meet people on the plane, Maybe this time I’ll be bless?

No matter how many times I board a plane, I always get excited. There is just something in my blood that enjoys flying. Like every small boy I wanted to be a pilot, its more than that. I just enjoy the excitement of flying. Hopefully one day, I will get Business class, just once.

I discovered a few days ago, that its almost imposible to earn enough frequent flyer miles for an upgrade! Especially if you don’t get full-economy, you get very little air-miles, and whats worse is that these air miles expire by the end of the year! Sigh.

Anyways, I my next entry will be from Home!!

home·com·ing (hôm’kÅm’Äng)
