A Meal To RememberA Meal To Remember

I love it when I get to eat cool food and Today, Yes 6th October 2003 at 12:14pm Hanoi time, I ate my first Snail! It was quite nice too, there was an initial smell that made me think twice at eating the fella, but after seing my Host and the Guest Of Honour (The Man From MasterCardâ„¢) eating it, I followed and found the texture really rubbery. We also had some Steamed prawns in Coconut Water, that was really nice, The traditional Vietnamese Dishes and of Course , the Seafood Hotpot special. The Man from MasterCard (not the Man from U.N.C.L.E), was a Indian Man from India, He wore a full Business Suit, a wore a pair of NEO from the mattrix sunglasses (which I though he would never take off), and A Mastercard Logo Pin on his Coat. The conversations were quite funny lah, he asked some questions and I asked some questions, and the bank people as some questions. But the highlight of the Afternoon was when The Bank Project Manager Paid for the Dinner with…..drumroll please……His Visa Gold Card …hahaha…Our MasterCard friend was not amused to say the least. Anyhoo, thats todays Story.I love it when I get to eat cool food and Today, Yes 6th October 2003 at 12:14pm Hanoi time, I ate my first Snail! [...] In the ever continuing series of “I Ate”, I have added another mammal! Since I started the travelling, I have done “I ate a Snail“, “I ate a Horse“. and “I ate a Camel“. The funny thing was before yesterday, I didn’t even know there was an animal called a Marmot! I got a call from Gaana, the Mongolian BF of my Irish Neighboor, and he told me he was going to the country side to do a boys day out. I was bored, and jumped at the chance to go to the countryside, cos it always meant Horseback ridding!! So we hopped into a car, and zooomed we went. [...]
